Louis Laves-Webb is recognized by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has his Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and has previous work experience providing counseling or counseling related services at The University of Texas Counseling Center, The Austin State Hospital, Capital Area Mental Health, Williamson County Juvenile Services, Central Texas Counseling, and The Psychotherapy Associates of Judy L. Alexander, LCSW. His counseling technique is caring, receptive and candid. He works collaboratively with the client and stays curious and available during the session. He creates an open atmosphere and invites in a range of expressions and emotion. Counseling sessions honor the client's process, while simultaneously providing direction and discerning feedback allowing the client the opportunity to resolve their conflicts and find a more lasting peace. |
